Jade Fettig, MD
Jade F. Fettig, MD, has joined AboutSkin Dermatology, as a board-certified dermatologist. A native of New England, Dr. Fettig grew up in Stamford, Connecticut. She attended the University of Southern California and was a recipient of the Dean’s Scholarship. She graduated from the USC Honors Program with a bachelor of arts in health and humanity (with a focus on health, gender, and ethnicity), and also minored in French.
She then attended Georgetown University and earned a master’s degree in physiology. After receiving her master’s degree, she worked for two years doing HIV clinical research at Jacobi Medical Center in the Bronx, NY. She then attended medical school at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University (where she received a full tuition academic scholarship).
While in medical school at the Cleveland Clinic, she completed a fellowship in applied epidemiology at the United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and also a second master’s degree in clinical research. After receiving her MD, she completed an internship in internal medicine at Loyala University Chicago and then a residency in dermatology at Boston University School of Medicine. While in residency at BU, she enjoyed volunteering with the Native American Health Service.
Dr. Fettig has published multiple original research articles on topics in both infectious disease and dermatology. She is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, and the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery.
Dr. Fettig moved to Colorado to be closer to her family. She enjoys traveling, yoga, experimenting in the kitchen, and reading fiction.
