Microneedling involves numerous tiny needles entering the skin, with each point creating a small channel that the body “reads” as a wound. This prompts a healing response, which includes renewed collagen production to repair the skin. The process also improves the texture of the skin surrounding each small channel.

When in the skin, Genius RF’s tiny needles deliver radiofrequency energy into the tissue. This coagulates the existing collagen for a smoother, more uniform look on the surface. It also encourages collagen production for skin tightening.

The collagen production process takes place over weeks and months, creating results that are gradually visible.

This new collagen will break down over time. Ongoing skin-tightening treatments can be used to maintain a smoother, more youthful look.
